Recruiting NA Intrathecal Drug Delivery

Compares treatment options for Intrathecal Drug Delivery

Official title Intrathecal Therapy Versus Standard Care for Severe Cancer Pain

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT07691840

What this study is testing

What is Comprehensive Medical Management?

Comprehensive Medical Management is an investigational medicine, given as an infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for intrathecal drug delivery.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
Approximately 66% of patients with advanced cancer experience pain, which is often inadequately controlled and associated with a decline in health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Conventional pharmacologic management, ranging from simple analgesics to strong opioids, is frequently limited by insufficient efficacy and systemic side effects.
  • Which group you join is decided by chance.
