Official title Probiotics for Abemaciclib-Induced Abdominal Discomfort.
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT07605728
What this study is testing
- What it's testing
- This study aims to evaluate whether the addition of probiotics can help reduce abdominal discomfort (such as diarrhea) in breast cancer patients receiving Abemaciclib treatment. Abemaciclib is an effective targeted therapy but often causes gastrointestinal side effects.
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
- You might receive a placebo (an inactive treatment) instead of the study drug.
