- Implanted Cardiac Pacemaker (+/- Defibrillator)
- Pacemaker mode of AAI or DDD if in sinus rhythm, VVI acceptable if permanent atrial fibrillation
- Non-dilated left ventricle by echocardiography

- Paced QRS duration of \>150 ms (indicator for pacing mediated dyssynchrony)
- Dilated left ventricle
