Recruiting PHASE1 Chronic Kidney Disease

New treatment option for Chronic Kidney Disease

Official title Adia Med of Winter Park LLC Chronic Kidney Disease Research Study

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT07572890

What this study is testing

What is Umbilical Cord Blood-Derived Stem Cells and Exosomes?

Umbilical Cord Blood-Derived Stem Cells and Exosomes is an investigational medicine, given as an once-daily infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for chronic kidney disease.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether a new regenerative treatment called AdiaVita, made from umbilical cord blood-derived stem cells and exosomes combined with glutathione, is safe and can help improve kidney function in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In this condition, the kidneys gradually lose their ability to filter blood as well as they should.
  • Phase 1: an early, usually small safety study
  • Time commitment: about 12 months
  • You might receive a placebo (an inactive treatment) instead of the study drug, decided by chance. You may not know which one you got.
