- Use of pain relief, anti-anxiety, or antidepressant medications prior to the intervention.
- Any condition for which VR use is not recommended, including:
- History of seizures
- Sensitivity to flashing light or motion
- Migraine headaches
- Predisposition to nausea or dizziness (e.g., vertigo)
