New treatment option for Hepato Cellular Carcinoma (HCC)
Official title A Platform Trial for Personalized and Adaptive Therapies in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT07328009
What this study is testing
What is Lenvatinib?
Lenvatinib is an investigational medicine, given as an once-daily pill taken by mouth, being studied as a potential treatment for hepato cellular carcinoma (hcc).
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- This is a phase II, multi-arm, Bayesian adaptive platform trial designed to efficiently evaluate novel therapies for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after first-line treatment failure. The study aims to rapidly identify the most effective investigational regimens and discover predictive biomarker signatures (from tumor tissue, blood, and imaging) to guide personalized second-line therapy.
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
A plain-language read of the study's public ClinicalTrials.gov listing. The study team confirms the details.
