- Portal vein thrombosis
- Being treated with terlipressin with a diagnosis of hepatorenal syndrome
- Portopulmonary hypertension
- Acute on chronic liver failure
- Chronic renal failure (glomerular filtration rate ≤ 30%)
- Myocardial ischemia
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Arrhythmia
- Multiple solid organ transplantation
