- Body mass index (BMI): 18.5 - 30 kg/m2.
- Type of operations: elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
- Duration of surgery not more than 2 hours.
- Known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or bupivacaine.
- Patients with respiratory insufficiency.
