Recruiting PHASE2, PHASE3 HFpEF - Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction

New treatment option for HFpEF - Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction

Official title Tailored Exercise Training Study Among Adults With HFpEF

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT07223242

What this study is testing

What is Weight loss?

Weight loss is an investigational medicine, given as an once-weekly infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for hfpef - heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is associated with a high morbidity and mortality burden. There are limited pharmacological options available for the treatment of HFpEF.
  • Phase 3: a large, late-stage study
  • Which group you join is decided by chance.
