- anti-arrhythmogenics
- inhalers
- history of cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, skeletal muscle disease
- irregular/absent menstrual cycle (females)
- unexpected responses to pre-experimental exercise tests
- previous diagnosis of heat stroke
