Recruiting PHASE3 Dravet Syndrome

New treatment option for Dravet Syndrome

Official title A Phase 3, Placebo-Controlled Study to Investigate LP352 in Children and Adults With Dravet Syndrome (DS)

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT06660394

What this study is testing

What is LP352?

LP352 is an investigational medicine, given as a pill taken by mouth, being studied as a potential treatment for dravet syndrome.

Also referred to as Bexicaserin.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
This (DEEp SEA Study) is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter study to investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of LP352 in the treatment of seizures in children and adults with DS. The study consists of 3 main phases: Screening, Titration period, and Maintenance period, followed by a Taper period and Follow-Up.
  • Phase 3: a large, late-stage study
  • You might receive a placebo (an inactive treatment) instead of the study drug, decided by chance. You may not know which one you got.
