ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT06450314
What this study is testing
What is Discontinuation of the anti-HER2 maintenance therapy?
Discontinuation of the anti-HER2 maintenance therapy is an investigational medicine, being studied as a potential treatment for metastatic breast cancer.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- Heroes is a multicentre, national, non-randomized, open-label, phase 2 study. The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the feasibility of therapeutic de-escalation in HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer with disease controlled after 2 years of maintenance treatment with anti-HER2 targeted therapy AND ctDNA negative testing.
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
