ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT06393816
What this study is testing
What is Durvalumab with etoposide and Carboplatin/Cisplatin?
Durvalumab with etoposide and Carboplatin/Cisplatin is an investigational medicine, being studied as a potential treatment for large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung.
Also referred to as MEDI4736.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- The primary objective is to determine the efficacy (Progression-Free Rate at 12 months) of durvalumab combined with etoposide and platinum (either cisplatin or carboplatin) for the first-line treatment of patients with advanced LCNEC confirmed by centralized expert-pathologist review
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
A plain-language read of the study's public ClinicalTrials.gov listing. The study team confirms the details.
