New treatment option for Neuroendocrine Tumors
Official title "Receptor Radionuclide Therapy With 177Lu-DOTATOC
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT06045260
What this study is testing
What is 177Lu-DOTATOC?
177Lu-DOTATOC is an investigational medicine, given as an infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for neuroendocrine tumors.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) may be recommended in G1- G2 GEP-NET patients with disease progression on somatostatine analogues therapy (LUTATHERA®). However, there are several diseases, including neuroendocrine neoplasia not originating from the digestive tract, for which the efficacy of PRRT has already been demonstrated, but which are not currently within the indications of LUTATHERA and therefore cannot benefit from it (i.e.
