New treatment option for Inhibition of Autophagy Synergizes Anti-tumor Effect
Official title A Phase Ib/II Study Confirmed Inhibition of Autophagy Synergizes Anti-tumor Effect of High Dose CDK4/6i
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT05953350
What this study is testing
What is 600mg bid dose of hydroxychloroquine combined with three predefined dose groups of palbociclib?
600mg bid dose of hydroxychloroquine combined with three predefined dose groups of palbociclib is an investigational medicine, being studied as a potential treatment for inhibition of autophagy synergizes anti-tumor effect.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- In order to explore the safety and antitumor efficacy of different doses of CDK4/6 inhibitor Palbociclib in combination with the autophagy inhibitor hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) , a phase Ib/II study was conducted. This study will adopt a 3+3 design and include three predefined dose groups of palbociclib: 100mg QD, 150mg QD, and 200mg QD.
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
