Recruiting PHASE3 IC-MPGN

Tests treatment safety and results for IC-MPGN

Official title Study of Efficacy and Safety of Iptacopan in Participants With IC-MPGN

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT05755386

What this study is testing

What is iptacopan?

iptacopan is an investigational medicine, being studied as a potential treatment for ic-mpgn.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
This study is designed as a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of iptacopan (LNP023) in idiopathic immune complex mediated membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis.
  • Phase 3: a large, late-stage study
  • You might receive a placebo (an inactive treatment) instead of the study drug, decided by chance. You may not know which one you got.
