New treatment option for Bladder Cancer

Official title The Role of Preoperative Immunonutrition on Morbidity and Immune Response After Cystectomy (INCyst Trial)

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT05726786

What this study is testing

What is Immunonutrition?

Immunonutrition is an investigational medicine, given as a pill taken by mouth, being studied as a potential treatment for bladder cancer.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
The goal of this clinical trial research study is to evaluate the impact of preoperative oral immunonutrition (IN) on post-operative complications in patients undergoing a cystectomy. As a secondary focus, this study will aim to develop a signature that would identify patients that would benefit the most from IN.
