New treatment option for Esophageal Small Cell Carcinoma
Official title JS001 Combined With TP as First-line Treatment for Unresectable or Advanced Small Cell Esophageal Carcinoma
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT05173246
What this study is testing
What is JS001?
JS001 is an investigational medicine, given as an injectable medicine, being studied as a potential treatment for esophageal small cell carcinoma.
Also referred to as recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody for injection.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- Small cell esophageal carcinoma (SCCE) is a kind of malignant tumor with poor prognosis. Our study found that the mutation spectrum and somatic CNV spectrum of SCCE were similar to those of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).
- Phase 2: a mid-size study of how well it works
