New treatment option for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Official title Targeted Immunotherapy After Myeloablative TBI-Based Conditioning & AlloHCT in CAYA With High Risk T-Cell ALL & Lymphoma
ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT04972942
What this study is testing
What is Daratumumab?
Daratumumab is an investigational medicine, given as an once-weekly infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for t-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Also referred to as Darzalex®.
Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.
- What it's testing
- A Phase I trial to determine the safety of targeted immunotherapy with daratumumab (DARA) IV after total body irradiation (TBI)-based myeloablative conditioning and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) for children, adolescents, and young adults (CAYA) with high risk T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) or T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LLy). Pre- and post-HCT NGS-MRD studies will be correlated with outcomes in children, adolescents, and young adults with T-ALL undergoing allogeneic HCT and post-HCT DARA treatment.
- Phase 1: an early, usually small safety study
