Recruiting PHASE2 Early-stage Breast Cancer

New treatment option for Early-stage Breast Cancer

Official title Trastuzumab Deruxtecan Alone or in Combination With Anastrozole for the Treatment of Early Stage HER2 Low, Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Cancer

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT04553770

What this study is testing

What is Anastrozole?

Anastrozole is an investigational medicine, given as an once-daily infusion into a vein, being studied as a potential treatment for early-stage breast cancer.

Also referred to as Anastrazole, Arimidex.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
This phase II trial investigates how well trastuzumab deruxtecan works alone or in combination with anastrozole in treating patients with HER2 low, hormone receptor positive breast cancer. Trastuzumab deruxtecan is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug called deruxtecan.
