Recruiting PHASE1, PHASE2 Acute Myeloid Leukemia

New treatment option for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Official title Ivosidenib and Venetoclax With or Without Azacitidine in Treating Patients With IDH1 Mutated Hematologic Malignancies

ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT03471260

What this study is testing

What is Azacitidine?

Azacitidine is an investigational medicine, given as an once-daily injection under the skin, being studied as a potential treatment for acute myeloid leukemia.

Also referred to as 5 AZC, 5-AC.

Plain-language explanation of the investigational treatment - it is being studied and is not an approved or proven therapy. The study team can confirm the details.

What it's testing
This phase Ib/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of venetoclax and how well it works when given together with ivosidenib with or without azacitidine, in treating patients with IDH1-mutated hematologic malignancies. Venetoclax and ivosidenib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

  • Adequate hepatic function (direct bilirubin \< 2 x ULN, ALT and/or AST \< 3x ULN) unless deemed to be related to underlying leukemia.

You likely can't join if
