- Electively scheduled patients for bariatric surgery
- Both sexes
- Age between 18 and 75 years
- ASA classification I-III
- Signed informed consent
You likely can't join if
- Patients with decompensated hepatic, cardiac, or renal insufficiency
- Patients with second-degree or higher heart block
- Patients with a history of chronic pain
- Patients with substance dependence
- Allergy to any of the medications used
- Pregnant or lactating women
