- signed informed consent
- age ≥18 years, both sexes
- HbA1c of ≤16%
- best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in the study eye above >25 letters of Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) nomenclature (corresponding to 1.2 VAlogMAR)
You likely can't join if
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- participation in any non-interventional or interventional study
- previously treated with Faricimab, photodynamic therapy and/or macular laser therapy (photocoagulation)
- visual acuity below 0.2 VA decimal (equivalent to 0.70 logMAR)
- glaucoma, intermediate and late age-related macular degeneration, uveitis
- hypertensive retinopathy stage 3 and 4
