- Patients >18 years old with Crohn’s disease in the terminal ileum who undergo ileocolonoscopy
- Healthy volunteers > 18 years without known gastrointestinal illnesses
- Capable of giving signed informed consent which includes compliance with the requirements and restrictions listed in the informed consent form (ICF) and in this protocol

- Breastfeeding
- Severe obesity (BMI >35)
- Serious heart or lung disease
